TEACHING

 

In terms of her pedagogic achievements, Marina Mdivani embodies tradition of pianistic art beginning in the St. Petersburg Conservatory in the nineteenth century with Anton Rubinstein, through Puishnoff, izandari, Tcherniyawskaya, Milstein and mil Gilels .

-In 1987-90, Ms. Mdivani taught in the Conservatory in Aleppo, Syria.

- In summer of 1987, Marina Mdivani gave master classes in Kariu, Finland.

- In 1995, Marina Mdivani gave master classes in Tbilisi, Georgia.

-In 1999, Ms. Mdivani gave master classes and lecture describing the current music program at McGill University for Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation in Moscow.

- In 2001, Ms. Mdivani gave International master classes in Moscow, Saratov and Tbilisi for Vladimir Spivakov Internatioanal Charity Foundation.

-In 2003, Ms. Mdivani gave master classes in Moscow and St. Petersburg

-In 2005 and 2007 Ms.Mdivani gave master classes for Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation in Moscow.

-In 2008 Ms. Mdivani gave master classes for  spiritual and cultural center of Abkhazia

 

JUDGING

 

In 1976 Marina Mdivani was jury member for the Vill Lobos Competition in Brazil, and in 1976, 1977 and 1978 she was the head of the jury for the stated

examination in piano and chamber music at the Conservatory in Tbilisi, Georgia.

In 1995, Ms. Mdivani was the president of jury of National Georgian Competition in bilisi.

In 2001, Marina Mdivani was the president of final graduation m in Saratov Conservator
